Shooting from the Driver's Seat

It would be great if I didn't have any downtime and was crazy busy with either photographer, improv, writing, or preferably some combination of all of the above. But I do. Lately, I'm spending a lot of time working on building out parts of my photography portfolio that are a little thin, but one of the things I like to do a lot is to just get in the car, drive around and discover my city through my lens. I keep my camera on the passenger seat and if I see something that catches my eye, I pull over, grab a couple of pictures and move on. Maybe something works. Maybe it doesn't.
