Kevin Patrick Robbins
Kevin Patrick Robbins is an advertising, commercial and editorial photographer. A former improvisational comedy teacher, he is an expert at getting his subjects to quickly relax and be themselves in front of the camera.
In Hamilton, his work regularly appears on the covers and feature pages of Hamilton magazine — all the covers in 2015 and 2016 — Biz magazine, and other publications. He is the head photographer for Hamilton Fashion Week, and his list of clients include: Alberta Oil, CBC, Education First, Foxcroft Capital, Live Nation, Origin and Cause, PostMedia, Sinai Maple, St. Joseph's Healthcare, Sun Media, Thier + Curran Architects, Venture Publishing, Vines Magazine, and more.
Kevin lives in the house he grew up in (in the east Hamilton neighbourhood of Vincent) with his six-year-old Welsh Corgi/Jack Russell roommate, Winston. Besides dogs, he also loves action movies, Netflix Originals, roller coasters, peanut butter cup Blizzards from DQ, Onitsuka Tigers, and long, meandering road trips.
Kevin is accredited with the Professional Photographers of Canada, for which he also serves as the national Professional Development Chair, heading up the continuing education of the association's members, and as Chair of the Hamilton-Niagara branch of the association.
